This short, but lovely 1 kilometre long trail wanders through cathedrals of huge red cedars. There are few groves of these giants in the Lardeau Valley and this site is the prime example. Watch for wild ginger and trillium in the spring. Include this on your visit to the spawning grounds of the giant rainbow trout at Gerrard in May.
It was designated and constructed in memory of John Fenger, a forester for Kootenay Forest Products.
