This relatively new trail provides easy access to Arrow Mountain, known locally as Goat Mountain, from within the town of Creston.
Views are to the west over the Creston Valley and north to Kootenay Lake.
Location: North of Creston towards Kootenay Lake. Goat Mt is to the east of Highway 3A.

Drive: From Creston, drive north on Highway 3. Turn right just before Tim Hortons on Helen Street. The parking area is on the left just as Helen St angles right.
Trail: Trailhead is behind the Town of Creston Public Works Yard on Helen Steet.
Climb steadily through a pine forest to a rock outcrop.
