TWIN PEAKS 2119m & 2150m
This off-trail, alpine hike goes over two bumps on the ridge line between Grassy and Siwash mountains in the Bonnington Range. There is one km of ridge between them. The common name for these is Pot Hill.

Drive: Drive to the summit of the Bombi summit on Highway 3 between Castlegar and Salmo. Turn north onto Munson Forest Service Road. Drive 13.7kms staying on the main road at all junctions. Park at the pullout.

2.5kms. Left on main road
3.5kms. Right. 3.6kms – left. 3.7kms – right. 4.5kms – right, always on main road.
6.0kms. Left. Grassy Mt appears ahead. 6.1kms – left.
10.4kms. Right. 12.7kms – right. 13kms – switchback right. Ignore the cairns on the side of the road.
13.7kms. Park in pullout on right
Route: There is no trail. Cross the road and ascend the rough quad track that ascends part way, with cairns and intermittent trail to the first peak. At .4km, leave the track at a pink flag. Follow cairns through grassy meadows on the ridge line. Grassy Mt is to the south.
1.3kms reach the top of Peak #1 – 2119m (225m ascent). Follow the ridge for 1km.
2.3kms reach the top of Peak #2. – 2150m. Siwash is visible to the north east.
Return the same way.
