I like to think of myself as a full-time traveller. I retired in 2006 at age 53 with a dream to see the world. Now over eighteen years later, I have lived that dream. I have visited all 193 United Nations countries in the world (the last was Tuvalu in October 2024). I believe I am the most travelled Canadian of all time. I still plan on travelling for several months per year but at a more relaxed pace.
Travel Nomad is an eBook about my travels. There are hundreds of stories of travel gone sideways.
My passions are walking, sea kayaking, and diving – they allow me to have intimate experiences exploring almost anywhere. Hopefully, this website will give you some ideas of places to go and things to do.
The Ideas page is about my many random thoughts.
Hiking & Climbing the West Kootenay fulfills a dream of writing about one of the world’s most beautiful places.
High-Functioning Asperger’s Syndrome is an eBook about the extreme end of the autistic spectrum – the source of all genius.
