UKRAINE – Crimea (Sevastopol, Simferopol)

Ukraine/Russia (disputed) – Crimea (Sevastopol, Simferopol)

I enquired about traveling to Crimea. A Russian visa is required and that needs a Letter of Invitation so I wrote Kozak Travel in Sevastopol. The reply was: Because of sanctions from the European Union to Russia and their support to the coup in Kiev, we can’t supply any touristic services at the moment. As soon as the sanctions are lifted we can be at your service again.

I would like to think of myself as a full time traveler. I have been retired since 2006 and in that time have traveled every winter for four to seven months. The months that I am "home", are often also spent on the road, hiking or kayaking. I hope to present a website that describes my travel along with my hiking and sea kayaking experiences.
